Dean Wild AssocRICS CSJK

Director

Dean is qualified Building Surveyor and Valuer with over 10 years experience in running businesses.

Dean is passionate about repurposing existing buildings and turning them into lovely spacious homes. When not working, he loves to network and build lasting relationships and hosts the Manchester 'Property Investors Network' meeting which is one of the largest property networking events outside of London.

"Being part of such a small island with such a high demand for housing, we should be making use of 'empty and ugly' commercial buildings and turning them into lovely homes!'

Key Interests: Personal development, keeping active and continually learning new skills within business.

Val Wild CSJK

Director

Val started her first business in 1986 and is a qualified Domestic Energy Assessor.

Working with her son Dean, she also shares a passion for repurposing

commercial buildings into spacious homes.

Val's skillset is all about bringing the project together and working out the logistics.

"For me, there's nothing like creating a brilliant product. Personally I would never live on a modern estate. I love the features and character of older buildings"

Meet Our Professional Team

Ian Kite MRICS

Non-Executive Advisor

Ian started off life by completing a degree in quantity surveying but realised his interests lay with building surveying and has been a Chartered Surveyor for over 20 years.

On a daily basis, Ian is completing works such as development valuations, building surveys, valuations, dilapidation reports

Having Ian onboard as a sounding board is a real asset to the DVLS team and his knowledge in commercial buildings and conversions is second to none.

Ian also owns and manages a successful firm of Chartered Surveyors, HWM Surveyors.

Key Interests: Horse racing, visiting new places and spending time with family.

David Massingham MRICS MCIOB MBA

Chartered Project Manager

Having worked in the construction industry since 1985, David has a wealth of experience in managing small and large projects.

David has worked for Local Authorities, large corporate firms and also runs his own practice Massingham Associates Ltd.

David has overseen major renovation works on buildings such as theatres, Local Authority housing schemes, large commercial projects and smaller private homes.

Key Interests: Playing drums, networking and anything building related!

Phil Garner DipPS MSc MRTPI

Chartered Town Planner

Phil has over 35 years experience in Town Planning and has been the managing director of Garner Town Planning since 2002.

Having worked at Stockport Metropolitan Council as a Town Planner and a Senior Town Planner at an independent practice, Phil has experience in dealing with all sorts of planning matters ranging from small scale extensions, large conversion projects, changes of use and agricultural land planning.

Phil is a member of the Royal Town Planners Institution.

Key Interests: Running, dog walking and spending time with family.

Jordan Kirkham MRIBA

Architect

Jordan has lots of experience working in architecture and is the managing director of ICI Architects. Having worked on a variety of projects such as Cinema complexes, home extensions, HMO conversions, commercial to residential conversions, Jordan is able to get a feel for how a building should look.

Key Interests: Golf, looking at Architecture and spending time with family.

Dave Whyte MRICS

Quantity Surveyor

Dave has been in the Quantity Surveying business for over 15 years and is a director of the award winning Quantity Surveying and Building Consultancy practice, Pelli Ltd.

Experienced in commercial conversions, home extensions, HMO conversions, Dave's input into the cost control of projects is vital.

Pelli have recently completed the redevelopment of an unused office space into 31 apartments.

Key Interests: Playing golf, dog walking and spending time with family.

A. We are happy to have a look at any commercial property, we may also be able to offer you a better price than other investors as we may see more potential for the type of scheme we are looking into.

Q. Are the homes you make ONLY for first time buyers?

A. Whilst our aim on selling homes suitable for first time buyers, any home that is created adds an additional unit to the housing stock. Our projects have multiple exit strategies that include but are not exclusive to first time buyers.
